I experimented with low and high ISO's and aperture then lengthened the speed of exposure. One of the things I could not get to balance out were the florescent lights mixed with incandescent and LED's. When I closed the aperture and shortened the exposure the Florescent lights didn't wash out but the exposure was too dark. How can I get a more balanced shot? I did find a couple of graphics demonstrating F-stop and Speed online.

This assignment was quite challenging to me but so worth it in the end. I must admit I was having a bit of trouble shooting in program mode. I went camping Saturday night and I thought it would be a great idea to get some twilight photos of the river. Well, It was a disaster!  I changed my ISO but couldn't figure out how to change my shutter speed. I also didn't have my tripod so that played a major factor to my epic failure. After taking a bunch of dark black blurry photos and being frustrated, I decided to call it a night.    So, today I re-read the assignment and watched some tutorials about my camera and realized that I can't change the shutter speed in program mode. :) Changing the ISO is like changing the film speed. It all clicked after that. I went outside tonight, with my tripod, and learned so much about program mode and what the ISO really does. I tried ISO 100,400,800,1600, and 3200. I really like shooting with an ISO 100 because it captured so much detail and made the pictures look really neat.  ISO 3200- F/3.5  1 sec ISO 1600-F/3.5 2 sec ISO 100- F/3.5 30 sec ISO 800 F/3.5 6 sec ISO 200-F/3.5 15 sec ISO 400-F/3.5 8 sec ISO 100-F/3.5  20 sec
